Blog Move To Logish Paradox
Moved to Logish Paradox
‘To live thy own truth’ is my personal philosophy, and thus the basis of this blog. From bitchy, morbid to philosophical ramblings -here you would find what defines me.
Beknown to me, it is difficult to disregard disapproval. However, I still strive to be myself. As second nature, when not entrapped by my conflicting moods, I seek to see beauty in darkness and perceived ugliness; everything is an illusion; the mind, after all, is a great liar.
Hopefully when my time comes, the dash between the years I live, on my epitaph, would be a mark of a fulfilling life. A life that had been worthy and had left its mark upon the world. One can only hope…

Dear Logy. I pride myself in some in depth knowledge of most religions in the world as well as much history of each country that as an old man I can hope to remember. The Moslem and Christian faiths are the bloodiest oaths to God that have ever existed.
The difference is The Moslem seeks to destroy the spirit of mans mind. The Christian faith tried and did do it for centuries ,but it was humble enough to step back and embrace the new ideals as more ways to please God. Look at all the countries that are ruled by Islam.
They are backward as they could be. If you read post here titled "how I lost my eye" you’ll understand my devotion to the Jews worldwide. As far as Nazis lol son I eat their hearts for snacks.:)
Point taken and I understand fully. However, I disagree.
That portion of people of either the Christian or Muslim faith aren't truly acting in accordance to their religion. I have friends who come from both of those faiths, I have taken the time and effort to understand their faiths, and I assure you, they are not like that.
Are we to dehumanise and label all, just for a portion of people who misunderstand, who by the way are not following the essence of their religion? In any religion, there are the conservatives, liberals and inbetweens.
You're simply judging a religion by how its people behave. And people, are not only one of the worst indicators on what a religion stands for, they do not know when they contradict their beliefs.
I stand by what I had said. Mockery does not end mockeries. Wars doesn't end wars. Violence for any good cause will also not end violence...
I am glad for you. I too seek to see the beauty in darkness. This refreshes more than I even could to expect prior.
Therefore it was strange to hear your statement "everything is an illusion" Should I understand that as your failure to discern the light?
Is the mind a liar or not depends on the direction of your look. Pictures under the feet are just the reflections on the pool, but not the sky.
I hearty wish you not to stop, but dig deeper, and I know that you will discover the light in what looks black to you at the moment. Be well, my fellow.

I should have been clearer on the illusion part. Whatever we perceive is but limited by the 5 senses and the mind. To be able to perceive something as light or dark, we must then relate the object to something else and our senses.
Let me just use this analogy. What is an orange? It is just an orange. It is the senses that relates the orange to its colour, taste and smell. If one day, for example, if we were to become blind, no longer will we be able to relate to its colour.
That is what I mean by illusion. Everything is relative to the mind's eye. If the mind does not relate and judge, an orange will remain to be what it is; not good, not bad; just an orange.
So from that perspective, why not see the good than depress ourselves with the bad? Anyway, thank you for your views. :) And best wishes to you, as well.
